OREANDA-NEWS Political and economic commentator Paul Craig Roberts said that Russia does not harbor aggressive plans towards Europe. He said this on the air of the YouTube channel.
Roberts assessed the likelihood of a war between Russia and Europe and stressed that Moscow has no intention of starting a conflict.
"Russia has no aggressive intentions towards Europe. It just doesn't make sense. It won't do them any good. But they benefit from trade, from making deals," he said.
Earlier, Viktor Sobolev, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, said that all European countries are actively preparing for war with Russia. He also recalled the EU's plans to prolong the conflict in Ukraine until 2030.
