OREANDA-NEWS  In the suburbs of Khabarovsk, a communal accident deprived more than two thousand people of water. The Telegram channel Mash writes about the situation.

Water supply was suspended in the Sunny City quarter in the village of Mirny at the end of February. To date, local residents have been without water for a week. The shutdown affected pensioners and the disabled, among others. The authorities organized the delivery of water, but did not announce a schedule — as a result, no one found out about the arrival of the car, and a scandal broke out.

The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, the operational headquarters is working. According to the head of the district, Sergey Budkin, the Khabarovsk vodokanal specialists are eliminating the consequences of the emergency.

Earlier in the regional capital, residents of almost 200 houses were left without heat and hot water for two days. The supply of the resource was stopped due to an accident on one of the heating mains. Three schools, 12 kindergartens and nine medical institutions were in the shutdown zone. A pipe also burst on the territory of the Pacific State University campus, which flooded the neighborhood and washed away the asphalt. A criminal case was opened into the incident.
