OREANDA-NEWS  The Middle Eastern nations now present more lucrative investment prospects than those available in Western Europe. This was stated at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha by Donald Trump Jr., the son of the American president, as reported by TASS.

According to the son of the American president, the situation in this region has undergone a significant transformation. In the past, it was said that the monarchies of the Persian Gulf would not have such a level of investment, and people would consider it absurd. He clarified that investors in these countries do not face the same level of strict regulation that would deter them from investing.

These statements by Trump Jr. align with the policies and rhetoric of his father, who recently visited the region for a four-day trip, during which he announced plans to attract over a trillion dollars in investments to the United States.

The European Union is facing criticism from the Republican president. Even before the implementation of the April tariffs, he had repeatedly expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that European allies had exploited the United States and were worse than adversaries. The president of the United States also addressed the issue of excessive regulation, which hindered his ability to operate as a businessman, during his speech at Davos shortly after taking office in January 2025.
