OREANDA-NEWS   On the night of Thursday, December 12, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to attack four regions of Russia using drones. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry in the Telegram channel.

They clarified that a total of 16 Ukrainian drones were shot down by air defense systems. Most of all (8) were shot down over Crimea, 4 more over the Kursk region, 3 over North Ossetia and one over Chechnya.

The Ministry of Defense called Ukraine's actions an attempt to commit terrorist attacks on targets in Russia. They clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack the regions with the help of aircraft-type drones.

A day earlier, on December 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 14 drones at Russia at night. All of them tried to attack the Bryansk region. Governor Alexander Bogomaz then clarified that a production facility had caught fire in the region. No injuries were reported.
