OREANDA-NEWS  In 2023, Ukraine's main export item will be IT services, according to preliminary estimates, they will account for 41.5 percent of total exports. This was stated in his Telegram channel by Deputy Prime Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.

He referred to the study entitled "Ukraine 2023: Adaptability and Resilience during the War", which was carried out by the Lviv IT Cluster in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The paper says that in 2023, the number of Ukrainian IT specialists increased by 8 percent, to 307 thousand people, and their average salary reached $ 2,630 (235 thousand rubles at the exchange rate on December 14).

According to the official, the authorities are working to make the country the main IT hub in Europe, become leaders in the development of the digital economy and increase the share of IT in the country's GDP to ten percent.

Earlier it was reported that in the third quarter of this year, Ukraine's GDP grew by 9.3 percent year-on-year and by 0.7 percent compared to the second quarter, taking into account the seasonal factor. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Ukrainian economy has demonstrated "remarkable resilience" in difficult conditions.
