OREANDA-NEWS Ten voting points in the State Duma elections will be formed on the borders with Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland, said Ella Pamfilova, chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia.
"We have again taken measures to create additional opportunities for compatriots living in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland... Based on the experience gained in 2024, 10 voting points near the border crossings will be equipped for them. There are four such sites in the Kaliningrad region, one specially equipped polling station in Leningrad Region, and five sites in Pskov Region where they will be able to exercise their constitutional right during all three days of voting," Pamfilova said, delivering a report on the readiness of the electoral system for the upcoming elections.
