OREANDA-NEWS  Iran's West Azerbaijan province was hit by a missile strike. This was stated by the head of the Department of Emergency Situations of the region, according to Fars.

"One enemy missile hit an uninhabited area in the province where there were no buildings or people. There are no casualties," the Iranian news agency quoted him as saying.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump warned that the United States would launch new strikes against Iran in response to the shelling of the US military in Jordan.
