OREANDA-NEWS. Soon the work of the "ONF Youth" team will resume, which will again begin to help elderly and lonely citizens, as well as people with disabilities. This year teenagers from "Trainer" - a social project will join them. Volunteers have already helped those in need at the beginning of the pandemic. Now they will again be engaged in the delivery of groceries and pharmaceuticals, payments for utilities and so on. Also, the team members are ready to help the doctors with the conversion of hospitals into covid observatories.

“We held an operational meeting via videoconference with all regional coordinators, I instructed to conduct monitoring, call the sponsored, chief doctors of hospitals - to find out what kind of help is required. Such meetings will be held weekly in order to have information about the situation on the ground and quickly turn on and provide all the necessary assistance, "said Igor Kastyukevich, deputy of the Russian State Duma, first deputy chairman of the youth policy committee, head of the ONF Youth.

He noted that the teams will also continue the work begun in the spring at the vaccination points. Volunteers will continue to distribute the flows of people, help with filling out the documents.

“As examples show, vaccination today is an effective way to preserve the health of both your own and your loved ones. We will also continue the "Stay a Donor" campaign, which we have been conducting jointly with the FMBA of Russia since the beginning of the pandemic. The main thing now is to unite all forces and means. Only together, shoulder to shoulder, we will defeat this virus, ”added Igor Kastyukevich.
