OREANDA-NEWS  European countries are constantly demanding a place at the negotiating table to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, but at the same time they refuse to listen to Russia's position. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, RIA Novosti reports.

"I think that everyone has heard these statements. Statements from Kai Kallas to Macron, from Merz to Ursula von der Leyen. They are being broadcast everywhere that they definitely need to be in the negotiation process, that they want to be involved in the settlement. It would seem that if you want to be at the negotiating table, you need to hear the position of the different sides," the diplomat said.

According to her, Europe's participation in the negotiations on Ukraine makes no sense without familiarizing it with the position of the other side.

Earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the provision of a new tranche of 3.47 billion euros from a 90 billion loan to Kiev.
