OREANDA-NEWS   Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on Kiev's calls to exclude Russia from the United Nations (UN). In her opinion, there is no need to react to them. She made such a statement on the air of Sputnik radio.

Answering the moderator's question about how Russia should react to such statements from Kiev, the representative of the Foreign Ministry said that nothing needs to be done. "This is the case when the dog barks, the caravan goes. Do nothing," she believes.

Zakharova recalled that Ukraine has experienced various figures in its history who "completely destroyed the country" and pushed it to the brink of disaster. She stressed that in such appeals there is "no historical essence or logic and even an understanding of what even in fantasies it can lead to."

On December 26, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called for Russia to be excluded from the UN. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba announced the country's intention to raise the issue of Russia's exclusion from the UN Security Council.
