OREANDA-NEWS Europe's attack on Russia will turn into a short-lived conflict. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, warned about this, her comment is provided on the agency's website.

"As President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin stated, our country does not threaten and is not going to threaten European countries," the diplomat recalled. At the same time, she clarified that no one should have any doubts that the Russian Federation has every opportunity to prevent any aggression.

"If Europe attacks Russia, it will be a completely different war — it will be very short," Zakharova concluded.

Earlier, the diplomat said that the head of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, and his assistants communicate with each other in Russian at the UN headquarters. At the same time, they are trying to ban citizens from using the Russian language on the territory of Ukraine, Zakharova recalled.
