OREANDA-NEWS Mikhail Zvinchuk, the founder of the Rybar project, and other Russian citizens detained in Montenegro will be returned to Russia, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya international media group and RT TV channel, is confident.

Zvinchuk, his wife Valeria and three of their colleagues were detained in Risan, Montenegro. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told RIA Novosti that the Russian Embassy in Montenegro is investigating the circumstances of the detention.

"My forecast is that the Rybar team will be given not to the USA, but to Ukraine. Which is worse in terms of return. We will return it, of course, but colleagues will suffer… Courage for them, a lesson for the rest: we fly only to those countries in which we are absolutely sure," Simonyan wrote in Maks.

The editor-in-chief urged even those who are not under sanctions not to fly to "enemy" countries, which include Montenegro.

"Be patient a little more. Later We will explain to them all how to love the Motherland. Ours," she concluded.
