OREANDA-NEWS. Ukraine got off the hook of the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the conflict in Donbass. So the adviser to the Kiev delegation in the trilateral contact group and the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich said.

In April, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Zelensky's team was "wriggling as best it can" in attempts to turn the Minsk agreements upside down and should not be "let off the hook."

"This" hook "does not really exist anymore. Or, in any case, Ukraine and Zelensky are no longer on the hook ... Mr. Lavrov, I say hello to you: we got off the hook of the Minsk agreements ... This is a huge achievement of ours, a breakthrough." , - said Arestovich on the air of the "Right to Power" program of the "1 + 1" TV channel.

Arestovich's statement followed Zelensky's visit to the United States and his talks with American leader Joe Biden.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said that the implementation of the Minsk agreements on Donbass is "the only possible means of resolving the conflict."

For his part, the head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of the unpredictable consequences of non-compliance with the Minsk agreements on Donbass.

“Volodymyr Zelenskyy, all your ways to resolve the conflict, except for the implementation of the Minsk agreements, are, first of all, fraught with unpredictable consequences for Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian people and the country where you live. Think well! " - says in the statement of Pasechnik, provided to journalists.
