US President Joe Biden, writing on Zelensky, said that “with the support of the United States, allies and partners, he left his mark on history and proved to the world that Ukraine will endure and its people will ultimately achieve the democratic future they have long desired.” 

Of the Russians, the editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta, Nobel Peace Prize winner Dmitry Muratov also made the list.
