OREANDA-NEWS Network scammers have begun using targeted advertising on YouTube video hosting to fool Russian users. This was reported in the press service of the antivirus Kaspersky Lab.

“Since the beginning of 2019, the company's defense decisions have blocked almost 17 million attempts to switch to such phishing sites that promise solid winnings,” the press service said, adding that “users from Russia and other CIS countries were mostly targeted by scammers.”

Attackers promise to pay a large amount of money allegedly for passing the survey. It is also proposed to receive money as part of a charity payment.
