OREANDA-NEWSThe head of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine Sergey Tomilenko supported the idea of allowing correspondents from the Russian Federation to visit the country and for this temporarily, for five days, lift the ban on their entry. “Russian media really say that they are not allowed to enter Ukraine. If there was a desire, the Security Service of Ukraine at the request of the office of the President of Ukraine could, for example, cancel the ban on entry for five days”, Tomilenko said on Wednesday on the Ukrainian television channel.

The head of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine believes that during a temporary stay in the country of Russian journalists, they need to organize a trip to the territory of Donbass controlled by Kiev. “A press tour to Donbass can be organized provided that Russian media would commit themselves to adhere to journalistic standards, this would be such an experiment”, he explained.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky during a press conference following the Norman summit (Germany, Russia, Ukraine, France) in Paris, answering questions from Russian journalists, invited them to come to Ukraine and personally assess the situation in the country.
