OREANDA-NEWS Today Ubisoft officially launched its Uplay+ game subscription service and offered everyone 27 days of free access.

Ubisoft intends to compete with other gaming companies such as Electronic Arts, Microsoft and Sony in the market for gaming subscription services, and Uplay+ will be used as one of the content sources in Google Stadia in 2020. True, with the latter it is not clear how Ubisoft and Google will share the revenue, since both services involve the purchase of subscriptions, which in total may come out somewhat more expensive than many potential customers would like.

All Uplay+ subscribers will automatically get access to pre-testing and early access programs for future games of the company and its partners, including the beta version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which testing will begin on September 5 and will last only 3 days.
