OREANDA-NEWS A hologram of Vladimir Lenin told young people at the congress how to become a communist, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
On the eve of the 105th anniversary of the Lenin Komsomol, the VII reporting and election Congress of the Lenin Communist Youth Union of the Russian Federation opened.
"Obviously, we have to tell ourselves that it is impossible to become a communist without assimilating what has been accumulated by human knowledge. I repeat, it would be a mistake to think that it is enough to learn communist slogans... without having assimilated that amount of knowledge, the consequence of which was communism itself," said the hologram of Lenin.
Lenin's speech was greeted with slogans from the audience "Lenin! The party! Komsomol!".
The participants of the congress were also greeted by the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov.
"Today we have the seventh congress of the Komsomol, the Communist Party of Russia from the first day took care that young people were brought up in the best traditions of our millennial power," Zyuganov said.
State Duma Deputy Vladimir Isakov announced the opening of the congress. After that, the proletarian anthem "Internationale" was played.
