Artemy Lebedev called the Russians a "systemic error"

OREANDA-NEWS Artemy Lebedev, a well-known blogger and designer, called the Russians' desire to please people in the West a mistake. In a video posted on the VKontakte social network, he stated that Russia does not need PR in Western countries.
"We have such a system error: we are always trying to please the white man, so that he approves of us, so that he says, "Yes, you are people too." We are always waiting for what the white man will say," Lebedev said.
In his opinion, Russia does not need to make extra efforts to please anyone. Instead, Lebedev believes, Russians need to live their own lives, and information about the benefits of living in the country will eventually spread abroad on its own.
"Come [to Russia], you will see that they don't eat cabbage soup here either. And then you'll realize that you were a fool yourself. And it's a pretty pointless waste of energy for us to prove that we're not stupid," the designer pointed out.
Earlier, Lebedev was outraged by the fact that in 2024 Italy gave him a visa for 12 days. The blogger criticized European countries for their visa policy towards tourists from Russia.
