OREANDA-NEWS A museum will open in the building of the Gorky Film Studio in Moscow, the exposition of which will be devoted to the history of cinema, the fate and work of famous directors, part of the exposition will be interactive, in which each visitor will be able to make his own film, said the general director of the film studio Juliana Slashcheva.

"Active construction is underway in the main building on Sergei Eisenstein Street, and in a few months we will be able to present a new Moscow museum. The modern multimedia exhibition will be located on two floors on an area of 1000 square meters," Slashcheva wrote on her Vkontakte page.

She clarified that on the ground floor, visitors will get acquainted with the history of cinema through iconic films, the fate and creativity of famous directors and actors of the film studio. A separate exposition, as Slashcheva noted, will be "as interactive as possible" and will involve visitors in the process of modern filmmaking at all its stages, during the visit everyone will be able to make their own film.

"Among the exhibits will be unique items found in the archives of the Gorky Film Studio, collected with the help of the heirs of our famous cinematographers," she added.

So, as Slashcheva noted, embroidery from the fairy tale "Marya the Artist", a wooden mallet from the film "The dog Walked on the piano", a mirror from "Morozko", a teleporter ring from "Scarlet Flower", a cigarette case from the legendary "Officers", as well as authentic personnel documents, historical filming equipment, original costumes from the filming of your favorite paintings and other exhibits.

There will be a recreation area with a library and a lecture hall in separate rooms, temporary exhibitions and various events will be held in the museum.
