OREANDA-NEWS Lenin's Mausoleum on Red Square will be closed to visitors for almost a month. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Federal Security Service (FSO) of Russia.

Access to the necropolis near the Kremlin Wall will also be closed. The restrictions will be in effect from April 23 to May 17. The reason for this decision is not specified.

Earlier it became known that about 20 million rubles will be spent on the restoration of the Lenin Mausoleum. It was noted that the general condition of the monument is assessed as of limited operability, but the condition of the brick parts of the walls of small collectors and walls of descents to the subtribe rooms is assessed as emergency.
