OREANDA-NEWS  Moscow took the fourth place in the list of ecologically clean regions of Russia. This information is presented in a study by the National Rating Agency (NRA) and MSU.

"In ecology, the top three were headed by Tatarstan, which ranks second in the ranking, as well as the Tyumen Region and Sakha," the newspaper writes.

At the same time, Moscow became the leader of the first ESG-ranking of Russian subjects from experts of the NRA and Moscow State University. It used 45 indicators grouped into three key blocks: environmental, social and managerial. Compliance with ESG criteria was assessed from zero to one point.

"The rating was headed by Moscow, which has significant economic resources and conducts large-scale work in the field of sustainable development both at the international and national levels. The capital scored 0.781 points," Izvestia reports.

Earlier, Moscow topped the ranking of cities with the highest "shopaholic index". Residents of the capital were most interested in and discussed Black Friday sales.
