OREANDA-NEWS Producer Joseph Prigozhin suggested following the example of the Kyrgyz authorities and banning Russian artists from singing to the soundtrack. He explained his position in a conversation with the radio station "Moscow Speaks".

According to Prigozhin, such measures should be introduced all over the world, since it is impossible to substitute the concept of a profession. The producer clarified that otherwise unfair competition arises in the sphere.

"You don't want a surgeon to operate on you with plastic knives and be a random person, not a professional. I am for professionalism in any industry, I believe that it is necessary to fight for the purity of the genre," Prigozhin said.

Earlier it became known that the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Altynbek Maksutov banned artists from singing to the soundtrack. The ban affected concerts in all state cultural and educational institutions.
