YouTube video hosting may stop working for those Russians who have started downloading it by the end of the day. This is the opinion in the interview aif.ru German Klimenko, chairman of the Council of the Digital Economy Development Fund, spoke out, explaining to the Russians the partial resumption of the resource.

"YouTube works from time to time, but it's not known why - it's a level of fortune—telling. Everyone who has it now won't have it tomorrow. Perhaps it will stop working by the end of the day," Klimenko suggested.

He added that, in his opinion, the video hosting servers in Russia have really "degraded," as previously stated by the Russian authorities and experts. In this case, according to Klimenko, some of them work, and some do not, and the traffic flow through them is unstable.

"The resumption of work periodically occurs, but there is no logical clarity as to why this happens," Klimenko concluded.

Earlier, Anton Nemkin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, said that there were no plans to completely block YouTube in Russia, but the video hosting service was being closely monitored. He also added that the platform is working in Russia, "albeit intermittently."
