Russians have flocked abroad en masse for the spring holidays

OREANDA-NEWS Russian tourists massively preferred holidays abroad to traveling around the country on spring holidays. This was told to Izvestia in "Fly.ru".
According to the specialists of the service, if in the same period of 2022 70 percent of all applications from Russians accounted for travel around the country and only 30 percent — to Egypt, Turkey, the UAE and other countries, then in 2023 the picture is completely different. Thus, 73 percent of domestic tourists rushed to rest abroad and only 27 percent — in Russia.
It is noted that on the festive March dates, such destinations as Egypt, the UAE and Russia turned out to be the most in demand. They account for approximately 27 percent of all sales. The demand leaders are followed by Thailand (16.5 percent), Turkey (about 8 percent) and Sri Lanka (almost 4 percent).
