The second congress of the "Movement of the First" starts at the exhibition "Russia"

OREANDA-NEWS The second congress of the "Movement of the First" will begin its work on Tuesday at the exhibition "Russia" at VDNH in Moscow, the organizers said.
The first congress of the "Movement of the First" was held on December 18-20, 2022 at the Youth House, where participants chose the name of the children's movement.
"The second congress will become a space for co–creation of the main participants in the educational process - children, parents and mentors and will bring together more than three thousand people from 89 regions of Russia. The main tasks of the congress are to identify priority areas for the development of the movement, to form a federal Council of the first, and also to express gratitude to the participants and partners for their contribution to the development of the movement," the organization said.
The participants of the congress will have a program according to which strategic sessions, master classes, panel discussions, motivational meetings and guided tours of the pavilions of the exhibition-forum "Russia", adapted for young people, are planned. According to the organizers, more than three thousand people from all regions of the country will participate in the special program of the congress. According to Grigory Gurov, chairman of the Board of the movement, the delegates of the congress will be able to get acquainted with the achievements of Russia at the site of the exhibition-forum "Russia".
"The Congress of the Movement of the First will become an important platform for children, parents and mentors to work together. Together with the guys, we will present the results of the year of activity, discuss and approve our traditions and symbols. We will pay special attention to the formation of a system of self-government in the movement and the family community ... "Relatives are loved ones," said Gurov, whose words are quoted by the press service.
In addition, as the organizers noted, a meeting of the congress of the "Movement of the First" will be held on January 31, as well as a meeting of the scientific and methodological council of the movement. The closing ceremony of the congress is scheduled for February 1.
The All-Russian public–state movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First" is a community of children, adolescents and adults, uniting state and public institutions to form a unified educational environment for schoolchildren and students of professional educational organizations. More than 4 million people participate in the movement. On a regular basis, more than 40 thousand primary branches operate in 89 regions of Russia. According to the organization, in 2023, the movement's events reached more than 7 million people.
