Volkswagen Group Rus has replaced the head of production in Nizhny Novgorod
OREANDA-NEWS. Marek Smykal (45 years old) was appointed the head of the Volkswagen Group Rus production site in Nizhny Novgorod. He joined the Volkswagen Group Rus team on March 1st, 2017, by replacing Dr. Florian Reiter in this position.
According to the press service of the Volkswagen Group Rus, Marek Smykal graduated from the Czech Agrotechnical University in Prague and began his career in 1996 as an intern at Skoda Auto in Mlada Boleslav. In 1997, he became an assistant to the head of the logistics department, where he worked for three years. After that, Marek Smykal took the position of a specialist in the planning department of the stamping shop, where in 2002 he became a coordinator.
