OREANDA-NEWS  A buyer was found at the plant of the Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda in Yaroslavl. The largest Russian manufacturer R-Pharma decided to buy the asset, with reference to its own sources, the Vedomosti newspaper reports.

According to the source of the publication, the Japanese manufacturer wants to sell the company due to sanctions restrictions. At the same time, the company does not plan to leave Russia.

The Takeda plant in Russia was launched in 2013, it produces 90 million ampoules and more than three billion tablets for the treatment of oncological, gastroenterological, neurological and rare diseases annually. Investments in the Russian plant amounted to about 117.43 million euros.
