"The Corporation is actively exploring new areas of development and is considering the possibility of mastering the production of new types of products. Today we are doing a lot of work on the creation of vessels of various classes and purposes powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). Every year, customers' interest in ships powered by new fuels is growing. We are also developing projects for small river pleasure craft powered by electric traction. New types of ship and shipboard systems, equipment, and marine engineering products are being developed," the corporation explained.

Ak Bars noted that the main promising direction for the company is the possibility of building serial ships and vessels with the number of units in a series of 6-12 orders or more. Today, the corporation is building orders for 12 different projects, including 7 head ones.

By the end of 2023, Ak Bars handed over 10 ships and vessels for various purposes to customers.
