OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2008. The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is currently discussing with its principal shareholder - the Ministry of Finance - a matter of increasing the amount of its charter capital up to 200 million manta, reported the press-centre of IBA.

As it is reported by Day.Az, this information has been given to journalists by Dzhahangir Gadzhiyev, the Chairman of the Board of IBA. According to him, this intention is determined by the requirements of the National Bank on the adequate amount of capital, since, at present, the amount of the Bank's charter capital constitutes 100 million manat, while its equity capital totals 300 million manat.

He has also stated that by the end of a current year the volume of IBA's assets is most likely to remain at the level of 3 billion manat.
