OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 June 2008 was announced, that Radisson SAS Olympisky hotel is to open in Moscow in mid-2010.

“Radisson SAS Olympisky hotel is to open in the mixed-use complex on 1 Olympisky Proezd. The total area of the complex will be 80,000 sq m, the hotel will occupy 33,000 sq m. The mixed-use complex under construction will also have 29,000 square metres of offices of class A and an underground car park for 420 parking spaces,” Sandra Dimitrovich, regional director of corporate communications at Rezidor Hotel Group included the chain Radisson SAS, said.

According to Ms Dimitrovich, a developer of the mixed-use complex and a partner of the hotel chain is CJSC Trast-Rezerv owned by Bank Moskvy.

“Rezidor Hotel Group has made a contract to manage the hotel for 20 years. The hotel will have 362 guest rooms with the area 29-45 sq m. It will house an exclusive fitness and wellness area which includes an indoor swimming pool, 3 restaurants, a multifunction conference hall with the area of 480 sq m for 600 seats and 5 40sq m meeting rooms,” the regional director added.

Ms Dimitrovich noted that all of hotel rooms would feature high-quality amenities such as LCD television screens and individual climate control. Free high-speed Internet access will be available throughout the hotel for registered guests.
