OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2008. The FAS Russia delegation headed by the Deputy Head of the FAS Russia Mr. Pavel Subbotin visited Harbin to hold negotiations with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China (SAIC), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The Parties discussed over perspectives of further cooperation between the frontier regional offices of the FAS Russia and SAIC China and signed The Program on Cooperation between the Amursky, Primorsky, Khabarovsky Regional Offices of the FAS Russia and Heilongjiang Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce of China in the field of competition policy and advertising regulation.

According to Mr. Subbotin, cooperation between the Russian and Chinese frontier offices promotes better environment for trade development. He also noted that information exchange between the Russian and Chinese antimonopoly authorities helps to react on urgent problems and find necessary decisions. Moreover, within the frameworks of the visit the possibility of participation of China in construction market development in Russia was discussed.

Furthermore the Russian delegation took part in the XII Commercial and Industrial Exhibition in Harbin.

The return visit of the Chinese delegation to the Far Eastern Regional Offices of the FAS Russia is expected in the second half of August, 2008.
