OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2008. According to the CIS Statistics Committee’s data, Moldova’s retail commodity turnover volume for the first six months of the year totaled 9.5 bln. lei (trading organizations, without food enterprises’ turnover), up 13.1% in constant prices from the same period last year.

Ukraine was the retail commodity turnover growth leader in the analyzed period with 28.1%. In Belarus the indicator increased 19.3%, in Russia – 15.2% (without food enterprises), Azerbaijan – 14.9%, Kyrgyzstan – 6.1%, Armenia – 5% (without food enterprises), Kazakhstan – 2.1% (without food enterprises), Tajikistan – 1.8%. The CIS states’ average retail commodity turnover volume growth totaled 16%.
