EMT and Elion Launched Sales of New 3.5G Netbooks
OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2008. ASUS Eee PC 901 GO netbooks are now available at EMT and Elion representations. The netbook has built-in 3.5G and EDGE – this enables connecting to mobile internet without using any external devices. Netbook is suitable for surfing the internet, reading emails and also for making EMT internet calls, reported the press-centre of EMT.
The netbook is very small (22.5x17cm), lightweight (only 1.1kg), has large battery capacity (5hrs) and comes with all necessary devices and software. SSD hard drive uses Flash memory and has no moving parts; it is smaller than regular HDD and more resistant to shaking.
Netbook is a device designed to fill a gap between regular laptop and smart phone and is viewed to be a very useful tool for active and young people and also for children.
„The most remarkable part about ASUS Eee PC 901 GO is the built-in 3.5G mobility“, said Toomas Teesaar, product manager at EMT. „EMT has the largest 3.5G network in Estonia. Also, EMT is the only mobile operator in Estonia who has EDGE network throughout the country. Thus it is possible to access the internet anywhere at any time.“
ASUS Eee PC 901 GO netbooks with built-in 3.5G are sold at EMT and Elion representations. Price of the netbook starts at EEK 7990; if netbook is purchased with 36-month installment period, monthly payment is EEK 292.
Netbooks are available in black or white.
