OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2009. In March 2009, 613 transactions with securities for 60.53 million leis, or 74.69 million leis less than at the same period of the last year were registered at the secondary security market of Moldova.

According to the National Commission for financial market, 278 transactions totaling 54.31 million leis were registered at the Stock Exchange of Moldova. By the volume of transactions at the secondary market, the share of exchange transactions made 89.72% and by the number of transactions- 45.35%.

Exchange turnover fell by 26.74 million leis as compared with March 2008 and increased by 44.36 million leis, as compared with February of this year. The largest share of transactions accounted for transactions by public offers - 52.16% (28.33 million lei) and transactions with common shares- 21.54% (11.7 million leis).

The volume of sales amounted to 16.46% (8.94 million leis), transactions on the sales of shares from the portfolio of liquidated investment funds - 9,77% (5,31 million leis), transactions executed with participation of the administrative territorial units - 0.07% (0.04 million leis).

It is noted that the largest transaction was registered with shares of SC "Agat" amounting to 7.9 million leis, or 14.55% of the total volume of the exchange transactions in March. 335 transactions worth 6.22 million leis, or 26.18 million leis less than the previous month or 47.95 million leis less than at the same period of the last year were registered in the outer exchange segment of the market.

The highest share in the outer exchange segment was sale-purchase transactions- 50.81% (3.16 million leis) and transactions of contributions to the charter capital - 22.19% (1.38 million leis).
