OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2009. Ukio bankas invites to participate in seminar “Business Promotion Opportunities”. The seminar will be hosted on 12 June 2009 at 14:00 in the Business People House at Muitines Str. 13A, Kaunas. This event is aimed at introducing new opportunities that opened up to small and medium-seized businesses when banks started extending loans intended for this business segment.

During the seminar, consultant on financial issue to the minister of economy Daumantas Lapinskas will present currently available instruments of business financing. Asta Slapshienл, representative from the company Investicijш ir verslo garantijos (INVEGA) will discuss the possibilities of business financing using INVAGA guarantees. Ukio bankas officers, deputy manager of Kaunas branch Gediminas Chesonis and deputy director of the Credit Department Laura Ivashkevichiute, will present the possibilities of making small credits to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as terms and conditions and procedure thereof.

Ukio bankas started granting credits to small and medium-sized enterprises using the funds received in implementation of the Government's Business Promotion Programme (Small Credits, Stage I; Small Credits, Stage II). The credits may be granted to finance investment and/or working capital.
