OREANDA-NEWS. August 3. Depositors of Rodovid Bank will have an opportunity to receive money from their deposits. The Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko announced during a meeting with 15 thousand depositors of Rodovid Bank.

The Head of Government underlined by the end of day to all accounts of depositors of the bank interests envisaged by the contracts will be transferred, those not having been paid before. Besides, according to her, from Monday all 226 cash machines of Rodovid Bank will be open and the depositors will have chance to take their money without restrictions. “Starting from Monday you will be able to take money from departments of Rodovid Bank as they are there,” Yulia Tymoshenko addressed the depositors. At this, the Premier noted the Gov’t had taken all measures to make the bank reliable so that the citizens could leave their money in the bank without fear. “In order to demonstrate that this bank is reliable and people can save money in it we will transfer accounts of the Cabinet of Ministers in payment of salaries to all functionaries into Rodovid Bank. It will be done on Monday”.

Yulia Tymoshenko reminded the Government had added UAH 2.8 billion to the statutory capital of the bank and agreed with NBU on additional refinancing of the bank in the amount of UAH 1.8 billion. Rodovid Bank will not be liquidated and will not be a bankrupt, the state has come as its full-fledged owner with an aim to put it on its feet,” the Prime Minister stressed.
