OREANDA-NEWS   Rosalokoltabakcontrol in January for the first time provided information on sales of alcoholic beverages in the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, RIA Novosti found out.

In January, residents of the DPR purchased 1.75 million liters of alcoholic beverages, while residents of the LPR purchased 1 million liters. Alcohol sales in the Zaporizhia region amounted to 314 thousand liters, and in the Kherson region - 85 thousand liters.

Thus, at the beginning of the year, residents of these regions bought about 3.2 million liters of alcoholic beverages.
Total sales of alcoholic beverages in Russia in January of this year amounted to 168.8 million liters.
