OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2009. Caspian Sea Oil Fleet (Kaspmornefteflot), a department of the state Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has exceeded the January-September forecast by 13.2%.

SOCAR reports that shipment totaled 473,811 tons that is by 55,311 tons more than it is expected.

At the same time ship-building factory of Kaspmornefteflot carried out repairs of 70 vessels worth AZN 18.918 million. 37 vessels were repaired fully and 16 ones are awaiting repairs.

The Department has at its disposal 256 vessels and 7 towing boats with overall deadweight of 83,910 tons. Kaspmornefteflot operates 195 vessels and nine vessels are under rent.
