OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2009. National rating magazine Gvardiya has presented results of Ukraine's most wealthy businesses rating, which covered 500 biggest companies and corporations in the country.

The list “Gvardiya-500” is based on their financial performance in 2008.

SCM took the first place by net income, which, according to Gvardiya exceeded UAH 82 billion with year-on-year increase of 70.07%.

Also, Gvardiya's Top 10 list of the wealthiest businesses in Ukraine includes three assets of SCM Group. Metinvest, the Group's mining and metals holding, took the third place; Azovstal steel plant ranks the 6th; and DTEK, power generation and distribution holding of SCM Group, crowns the Top 10.
