OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2009. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) will keep the Register of repeated violations of the antimonopoly legislation in terms of abusing dominant position. It was announced by the Head of FAS Russia Igor Artemyev at the business breakfast with the Russian Managers Association, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

"This measure is necessary in order to follow "the rule of three ringing signals", when triple violations of the antimonopoly legislation within three years by the same company manager can be punished by criminal sanctions", said Igor Artemyev.

The Head of FAS Russia believes that this is a preventive norm, indicating what society and the government find unacceptable and dangerous. "Hardly any manager or an official will sign the documents breaching the antimonopoly legislation on three occasions within three years with a prospect of imprisonment", thinks Igor Artemyev.
