OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2009. Ingosstrakh IJSC insured 8 companies of timber manufacturer Rusforest Group.

Insurance policies cover all risks, including machinery and equipment breakdowns, production downtime and risks of damage or destruction of mobile equipment. The insurance period is 1 year. The total amount of coverage on the contract is about RUB 3 billion.

Rusforest group of companies is a major Russian timber processing company. The Group’s rated wood cutting areas are 1.4 million m3 per year, the company manufactures 230 000 m3 of timber per year (outlook for 2010  -  280 000 m3). Primary production facilities of the company are located in Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk regions. The company’s stakeholders are West-European institutional investors; Rusforest produce  (Rusforest AB) is traded at Stockholm’s OMX First North  exchange (RUSF).
