Kazakhtelecom Opens Show Room in Shymkent
OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. Opening of Show Room took place in South Kazakhstan Oblast telecommunication direction, branch of Kazakhtelecom JSC. This is third after Astana and Almaty Show Room of the leading Kazakhstan telecoms operator, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.
A decision has been taken on using one of instruments of brand management of Show Room within the complex of measures on reducing of information inequality and formation of demand for high quality services of Kazakhtelecom JSC.
At present Show-Room of Kazakhtelecom JSC functions in Astana and Almaty. At that experience of Show Room in Astana uses as a standard for further replication in all oblast centers of Kazakhstan.
Show Room - is an unique project amongst telecommunication operators of CIS countries, which is targeted to increasing of information of population on new technologies and services, provided by Kazakhtelecom JSC, the leading Kazakhstan telecoms operator. Every visitor can freely try in real mode existing and planned company services, also receive detailed information and experts’ consultation. The key task of Show Room as a center of modern info-communication technologies is not only new services promotion, but increasing of its information accessibility for people.
Show Room in South Kazakhstan OTD is divided to 3 functional segments: “House”, “Office” and “Wi-Fi zone”.
“Wi-Fi zone”– users of notebooks, pocket computers, smart phones can connect to Internet network by means of Wi-Fi. Today 8 similar zones are functioning in Shymkent.
In “House” visitors are offered to familiarize with and try to use telecommunication services complex by a concept "Triple play"- telephony, high speed Internet and IPTV. Such services are provided by one high speed broadband channel.
‘Office” is equipped with the latest technologies of infocommunication services in Kazakhstan. Here, for instance, SIP-telephony is provided (telephony by Internet channels). Expanded functions necessary for business but complete integration with computer technologies, office applications, e-mail e.t.c. are amongst SIP-telephony advantages.
