OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2010. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Koen Minne, CEO of the well-known Belgian company ENEX process engineering SA.

Thanking the Turkmen leader for finding time in the very busy schedule for a meeting the guest emphasized that he was glad to have an opportunity to discuss the important aspects of cooperation built on a long-term, mutually advantageous basis during a personal meeting.

Greeting the guest Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that he is always glad to see the head of the company which ranked among Turkmenistan’s long-standing dependable partners, with whom our country was successfully implementing a number of the important projects.

The CEO of ENEX reported on the progress in implementing the projects in Turkmenistan and presented the new proposals on further partnership. In particular, the ways to expand cooperation in the energy sector, petrochemical industry and use energy saving technologies were reviewed in the traditionally friendly atmosphere.

Welcoming such a businesslike, pragmatic approach of the Belgian company to building cooperation the Turkmen leader said that in its turn Turkmenistan was interested in intensifying effective partnership especially with those companies that had earned the high reputation on the rapidly developing Turkmen market.

In conclusion President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his guest exchanged mutual wishes for continued success reaffirming the mutual interest in furthering partnership in compliance with the priorities of Turkmenistan’s social and economic development and ongoing large-scale reform programmes.
