OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2010. As it was informed in the company, the first on-line registration service of its passengers in the airport of the capital was launched by the Russian air company S7 Airlines.

This kind of service is used for the first time in the airport, being very practical and easy to use, and allows check-in up to 6 passengers with the single booking. All the passenger needs is the Internet and the possibility to print out the boarding pass before going to the airport for emplaning.

The passenger saves time at the airport and has an opportunity to select a convenient seat in the cabin. On-line check-in is a new way to check-in at S7, and starts with 23 hours before departure and ends 50 minutes before departure. On this occasion, on January 28 a congratulatory ceremony was held for the first passenger who registered on-line on the route “Chisinau-Moscow”.

There are 3 national and 11 international airlines operating their flights into 21 directions. In 2009, the total amount of passengers arriving and departing from Chisinau International Airport amounted 808 096 people, figure that exceeds three times the indices of the year 2003.
