OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2010. The State Customs Committee (SCC) informs that according to customs pay-in slips, individuals imported consumer goods for USD382.46 million for Jan-Mar 2010.

“The figure is by 39.02% (USD 24.6 million) less against the import figure of Jan-Mar 2009,” the Committee reported.

This March import for personal use reached USD 13.56 million versus USD 11.758 million in February and USD 13.147 million in January of the year.

Last year country’s such import reached USD 216.355 million, including USD 21.046 million in December (the best index for 2009).

For Jan-Mar 2010 overall import of Azerbaijan totaled USD 1.158 bn with the share of individuals at the level of 6.14% (USD 71.103 million).
