Enterprise Estonia Held Seminar for Chinese Businessmen
OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. Enterprise Estonia held a seminar for Chinese businessmen at the Estonian Expo pavilion. 49 people from metal production, machinebuilding, IT, Cleantech, green energy, Law and several other branches were presented from China.
The opening words were said by the Commissioner General of the Estonian EXPO pavilion, Mr. Toomas Tiivel. The rest of the seminar was presented by Enterprise Estonia's representatives Krister Kalda, Riina Leminsky, Valdar Liive, Valle Feldmann and Mr.Zhang from a chinese company The Great-Line.
The themes covered were general information about Estonia (location, history, nordic and eastern influences), Estonian business climate, Estonian investment opportunities and the services that Enterprise Estonia's Shanghai office can offer. Mr. Zhang Kun gave an overview of Estonian tourism attractions and at the same time told about his own experiences of making business in Estonia through Chinese eyes. The Great-Line has offices in Beijing and Tallinn. The seminar was concluded by networking between Estonian representatives and Chinese businessmen.
After the seminar, the businessmen enjoyed a tour in the Pavilion and took part of the voting. Estonian pavilion has 33 piggy banks. Each of them representing different issues that are important for "Better city, better life", which is also the theme of this year's EXPO.
