OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2010. ROSNO’s Samara branch has concluded a personal property insurance contract with a private individual under the program Megapolis. The insurance protection covers a city apartment and the property kept therein, together with a cat of a rare breed "Devon Rex", reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The city estate, including internal furnishing, plumbing systems and recorded movable property, has been insured against fire; lightning stroke; explosion; aircraft impact; flood (including the same due to malfunctioning washing machines or dishwashers, flowing or accumulative electrical water heaters; infliction of mechanical damage to aquarium); natural disasters; collision with transport vehicles, burglary, robbery and brigandage; illegal third-party actions; broken glass; or voltage swings for the total amount exceeding 4.5 mln. roubles.

ROSNO has also provided insurance coverage to the insurant’s pet — a ginger wavy-haired cat called Unix. The cat has been provided accident and sickness insurance coverage for 15 thousand roubles.

ROSNO’s Megapolis program contemplates insurance coverage of city estate, its internal furnishing and plumbing systems, together with the property kept therein (furniture, audio/video/other home appliances, clothes, jewelry, collections, cash, plants, etc.), as well as civil liability for infliction of damage to neighbors in course of using the apartment. Furthermore, this program contemplates the possibility to insure pets (cats and dogs).
