OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010. Authorities in Rostov region intend to build a bridge over the Manych river to replace the existing bridge, which does not comply with modern safety norms and requirements.

Investment in the project has yet to be disclosed.

Under plans, the 328-meter-long and 11.5-meter-wide bridge is a part of a 10.7-kilometer road track.

The existing bridge over the Manych river is a part of Olginskaya – Volgodonsk motor road and was built in 1962.
