OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2010. The RBC.Rating Agency has published its rankings of the biggest profit earners among banks for nine months of 2010, which placed Sviaz-Bank 12th with its balance sheet profit of 4.1 billion rubles.

Sviaz-Bank was ranked 27th among the top 300 general-purpose banks after nine months of 2010 in terms of its overall performance, including its net assets, liquid assets, balance value, profit, and deposit and loan portfolios, to name only a few indicators.

In their estimates of the banks’ total deposit portfolios on October 1, the Agency’s experts put Sviaz-Bank in 33rd place among the Top 500, with 69.2 billion rubles in its portfolio, or 40% more than what the Bank’s deposit portfolio was at the end of nine months of last year. Sviaz-Bank was 21st in deposits accepted from legal entities, registering a growth of 35% in its portfolio since October 1, 2009.

Kommersant paper put Sviaz-Bank, with 130.3 billion rubles in assets, in 29th place among Russia’s biggest banks on October 1, 2010.
